Example : Resource allocation problems
A company produces screens LCD of 15 and 17 inches out of only
one line of assembly imposing the following constraints:
The outputs limit to 21 000 the number of screens of 15 inches which can be produced per week.
Each screen of 17 inches requires 50% of time of manufacture moreover than one screen of 15 inches.
Moreover, for marketing reasons, the weekly production of 15
inches screens is limited to 15 000 parts and the production of 17
inches screens should not exceed 40% of the total production.
The screens are sold, respectively 250$ and 450$ part.
