LASS - Problem Definitions (1/2)

• LASS was developed because nowadays, “full service” with a high quality degree is more and more asked for power plants, but in the management of this kind of service, there are some random and uncertain factors which will subsequently affect the system process. So LASS can be able to take into account these factors.

• LASS must propose the most effective maintenance planning in terms of costs answering to power demand satisfaction (so, the simulation is the best solution for resolve this kind of dilemma).

• With these all parameters, the problem is that LASS has involved important efforts in terms of code development.
