STRATEGOS as Innovative Approach to Big Challenges based on Modeling, Simulation, Big Data, AI/IA, Machine Learning

Strategic Engineering is a pretty new discipline that aims to support decision making and problem solving applied to challenging frameworks. Strategic Engineering combines Modeling, Simulation, Big Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence/Intelligent Agents (AI/IA) and Machine Learning to develop new Solutions for Decision Makers and Executives. Strategic Engineering gets benefits of bleeding edge technologies and combination of techniques with Internet of Things (IoT) and Internet of Everything (IoE) to develop models able to scienifically support decisions by using Quantitative Modeling and Simulation based on reliable Big Data.

Indeed, STRATEGOS is the new MSc in Engineering Technologies fo Strategy and Security developed by Genoa University to prepare young engineers able to master these methodologies and techniques as well as to act as link with decision makers. STRATEGOS is promoted by prestigious Polytechnic School (est.1870 AD) of Genoa University (est.1471 AD) ranked normally among five best Engineering Programs in Italy and frequently as best.

On 1st March in Polytechnic School of Genoa University demonstrations related to Industrial, Defense and Homeland Security have been interactively experienced by students using Virtual and Augmented Reality solutions developed by Simulation Team based on HDM (Head Mounted Display, Hololens(tm). Engineering students had opportunity to interact with Jessi, PONTUS, SISOM and W-Artemis simulation solutions.

Next 1st April 2019, B4 Classroom, 14.00 a presentation of Strategic Engineering concepts will be provided by Industrial Representatives and Interactive Sessions with Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Simulation and Intelligent Agents will be proposed to attendees.
