Conclusions
The potentials of the simulation in the port terminal sector are numerous and important results can be obtained since they can optimise the logistic-managerial processes, support engineering and re-engineering of existing terminals and carry out training at all levels.
These operations have limited costs, reducing
risk without reducing operating efficiency.
It is very important that the
final users are involved in
the development and validation
that they document and test such
simulators to accredit them and
to be able to use them correctly.
