EFFICIENT SIMULATION OF LARGE DYNAMIC STRUCTURE CELL SPACES

Abstract:
We present aggregated abstract simulators for the Dynamic Structure Discrete Time System Specification (DSDTSS) formalism. These simulators allow efficiently simulating large cell spaces undergoing structural changes. A generic algorithm for the optimization of large transport processes simulation is provided. This algorithm consists in dynami-cally controlling a calculation domain (the set of cells which state is computed at a given time step) during the simulation. Finally, a fire spreading application using the DSDTSS formalism is provided to pinpoint the advantages of using the DSDTSS formalism for modeling and simulat-ing large dynamic structure cell spaces.
