On a Difference Equations Model for HIV/AIDS Development

Abstract:
We propose a simple difference equations model for the spread of HIV/AIDS in a society and apply the model to the societies in both Canada and the United States. The agreement in both cases with the actual numbers is very good. The model has strong similarities with models in differential equations developed previously.
