Past Meeting Report and Pictures (2014 Previous Event Pictures)

The first editions of these meeting were focused on Industrial Plant Business Sector therefore the new ones involve Companies of different areas; for instance in March 2014 over 20 Companies and 3 International Organization attended the event, while over 120 Curricula was presented by students and young engineers and over 600 campus interviews were completed with Leading Companies active at International and National Level; these Companies resulted very interested in evaluating young engineers (i.e. Genova, Meeting Summary & Images, February 2012, June 2012, March and October 2013, March 2014).

Press Release: Companies meet Young Engineers: April 2nd, at the Engineering School of Genova University, the interviews of an entire year will be completed within a single day to develop new International Careers

Young Engineers meets Industry Meeting will be held Thursday, April 2, starting at 9:30 am at the main Hall of Villa Cambiaso - Via Montallegro, 1l; over 20 prestigious worldwide realities (ie Multinational Companies, Industries and International Institutions) will present expectations and requirements to young engineers and will be actively involved in campus interviews interviewing offering international job opportunities. This initiative is coordinated by Prof. Agostino G. Bruzzone, president of MIPET (International Master in Industrial Plant Engineering & Technologies) and supported by the sponsoring companies of this International Masters of the University of Genoa (www.itim.unige.it/mipet).
Over 150 graduates will participate to the event and will be able to complete interviews with Firms and Institutions ready to start a career in an international context; several subjects have already confirmed their participation:

In addition to new graduates, even young engineers, who have already developed a working experience, are entitled to participate for evaluating new job opportunities; furthermore the meeting is open to students who want to activate an internship in companies.
After the welcome of the Genoa University, Polytechnic School Dean, Confindustria and the Professional Engineering Society, each company will present within few minutes its activities, pointing out its expectations, proposals and offers for young engineers.
During the morning, Prof. Agostino G. Bruzzone - organizer of the event - will also present the sixth edition MIPET which will begin in few weeks. immediately after the application deadline and selection process completion that is scheduled for mid-April. The MIPET has been sponsored by the Industries by offering several scholarships; this year it will be available, in addition to these scholarships, also further 8 grants by INPS (7,500 Euro each); in fact just on the basis of pre-registrations, this year MIPET expects a large participation of young scientists and engineers from all over the world interested in securing a place among those who will have the opportunity to develop plant engineering know how in synergy with major companies in this realities of the international sector.
